Photographs of transvaginal ultrasounds found online from public sources ranging from Pinterest to medical journals to Breitbart articles were closely cropped to resemble planetary bodies. Superimposed upon these surfaces are traced maps outlining Martian “chaos terrains,” regions on Mars where the landscape consists of buttes, hills, valleys, and mesas. Each print’s title aligns with the region’s name as assigned by the International Astronomical Union.
